Ever since I was a young boy that still liked girls, Iíve always dreamed of having my own tree house on our backyard. Any size or form will do. But living in a small neighborhood and having an overweight dad and no big brothers did not help in making that wish come true.

Now you can live vicariously through your future offsprings and make "them" a treehouse--that you will be using 90% of the time!

When I lived in another city for a few months, in a small room underneath the roof of a big old city house, there was a small yard with a young cherry tree of two metres at the back. Coming back from the institute (10km by bike through the forest) one afternoon I found it full of planks and kids, and the architect guy who owns the top two storeys of the house. They told me they were building a tree house.
I didn't believe it, it sounded like a joke - the tree was just way too small. But two days later they had managed to build a proper platform in, or rather on, the tree. Sitting on it felt like a boat on a rough sea, and yet the architect told me it would actually carry three adults at once. However, he said they would wait with further construction so the tree would get used to it. In the future, the tree, the treehouse and the kids will grow together. When I think about this, I feel a little bit jealous, and sad, and yet hopeful.
A very small tree will do, even if you don't believe it at first, and age doesn't matter. What does being an adult mean? I choose "More power to make my dreams come true."

</rant> :)

What an adorable design - It feels outlandish, but not physics-defying enough to be totally unreal.

Beautiful! :D
I know how you feel; my family never lived in a place with good trees of tree houses. Plus we moved around a lot, so that made things even trickier. :/
